Aircraft Construction
Established in 2013, the Faculty of Aircraft Construction was created to meet the real sector's demand for specialists in the following areas: developing manufacturing processes for aircraft, repairing and maintaining aviation equipment, ensuring the operational readiness of refrigeration, cryogenic, air conditioning, and ventilation systems, as well as developing design and technological documentation for ground support equipment at airfields.
Automation, Mechatronics and Control
The Faculty of Automation, Mechatronics and Control trains students in a wide range of engineering specializations for industrial enterprises that utilize automated, mechatronic, robotic, hydraulic, lighting, and electromechanical systems.
Agro-Industrial
The Agro-Industrial Faculty of DSTU trains qualified specialists for the agro-industrial complex. The department offers advanced degree programs in the fields of engineering, agricultural machinery manufacturing, and aquaculture.
Life Safety and Environmental Engineering
The Faculty of Life Safety and Environmental Engineering offers students a wide range of specializations that are in high demand by industry, businesses, and public administration bodies.
Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine
The Faculty of Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine trains personnel in various fields, strictly adhering to employer requirements and current market needs. From their first year, students have the opportunity to acquire professional competencies, and the faculty's graduates form a contingent of highly competitive specialists.
Road and Transport
Founded in 1944, the Road and Transport Faculty trains highly qualified specialists in the fields of: design, construction, and operation of highways, bridges, tunnels, and other road infrastructure; organization and management of motor transport; road traffic safety; intelligent transport systems and transport logistics; applied geodesy, and more.
Civil Engineering
The Faculty of Civil Engineering boasts a team of over 120 teaching staff, a laboratory base comprising 14 specialized educational and research laboratories, a "Training Fire Station," a vocational training center, a student environmental service, and practical training provided at 7 partner departments based at industrial enterprises in the Rostov Region.
Innovative Business and Management
The specialist training program is based on economic, financial, and organizational-managerial disciplines. This enables our graduates to pursue successful careers in management and business across various departments of organizations of all forms of ownership.
Institute of Military Education
The Institute of Military Education is a structural unit of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Don State Technical University." It was established by Rector's Order No. 31 dated February 13, 2023, based on the decision of the DSTU Academic Council. The Institute comprises the following structural units: the Military Training Center; the Department of Fundamentals of Military Training; and the DSTU DOSAAF Educational Center.
Institute of Advanced Technologies "School X"
Education at the Institute is based on project work within teams, where success relies on the ability to self-organize and analyze one's personal development trajectory. In addition to their core curriculum, students independently choose additional areas of study.
Institute of Cross-Cutting Technologies "T-University"
"T-University" is the educational space of the DSTU Institute of Cross-Cutting Technologies. It is founded on the principles of individual educational trajectories and offers 15 educational programs designed around key technological trends. This approach ensures that T-University graduates remain highly sought-after specialists in the industry in the long term.
Institute of Physical Culture and Sports
The primary focus of the DSTU Institute of Physical Culture and Sports is to train specialists in the field of physical culture and sports through the integration of educational and research activities.
Computer Science and Computing
The Faculty was established in 2008. It currently comprises 8 departments and employs over 170 staff members, including 12 Doctors of Sciences and 51 Candidates of Sciences.
Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering
The Faculty operates six specialized laboratories and multimedia classrooms. Students gain hands-on experience working with laboratory test benches, measuring equipment, and more.
Institute of Creative Industries
The Institute of Creative Industries (ICI) of Don State Technical University was established through the reorganization of the "Media Communications and Multimedia Technologies" Faculty, pursuant to DSTU Rector's Order No. 177 dated September 17, 2024. The Institute is headed by Anita Sergeevna Tsoi, a People's Artist of Russia. The ICI offers Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in the fields of culture and arts, media communications, advertising, and public relations.
International Faculty
For over 45 years, the International Faculty has been preparing foreign citizens for subsequent successful studies at DSTU faculties and other Russian universities. During this time, more than 6,000 international students have completed supplementary general education programs that prepare them for degree programs taught in Russian.

The Faculty of Service and Tourism is the successor to the Faculty of Law, Service and Tourism, following its renaming pursuant to University Rector's Order No. 307 dated December 29, 2016.

Energy and Oil & Gas Industry
The Faculty of Energy and Oil & Gas Industry is currently one of the most sought-after faculties in the University. It was established through the reorganization of the Faculty of Energy and Communication Systems and the Faculty of Oil and Gas Industry.
Law
The Faculty places great emphasis on the quality of its educational services. The goal of DSTU's Advanced Engineering School, established in partnership with the "Rostselmash" company, is to train engineering teams capable of developing intelligent, customized machinery to ensure Russia's food security and the global competitiveness of its agricultural products.
