Platov International Airport (ROV) serves as the main air gateway to the region. The airport offers:

• Regular domestic flights from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other Russian cities
• International connections from Istanbul, Dubai, Yerevan, and other destinations
• Modern facilities located approximately 45 km from the city center
• Convenient shuttle and taxi services to Rostov-on-Don
Due to the closure of the airspace, Platov Airport temporarily does not accept and does not release aircraft until further notice. Check airport status in advance

Rostov-Glavny railway station provides excellent rail connections:

• Convenient overnight trains from Moscow (travel time: approximately 15-20 hours)
• Regular connections to Sochi, Volgograd, and other major southern cities
• High-quality train services including modern "Lastochka" express trains
