Joint Institute with Shandong Transportation University

Joint Institute with Shandong Transportation University

Don State Technical University (DSTU) and Shandong Transportation University (SDJTU) have established the successful Don Institute of SDJTU-DSTU, a joint educational institute that stands as a leading example of Russian-Chinese cooperation.

Founded after more than 20 years of partnership, the institute officially launched its joint programs in 2019, offering degrees in "Transport Operation and Management," "Bridge and Tunnel Construction," and "Information Systems and Technology" to hundreds of students.

A significant achievement is that over 60% of its graduates continue their studies in master's programs, with many receiving state scholarships from both China and Russia, attesting to the program's high quality. Recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education as a leading joint educational institution in Shandong Province, the institute also expands collaboration into joint scientific research and grant applications.

The "Russia-Africa" Summer University

DSTU successfully hosted and summarized the results of the "Russia-Africa" Summer University, strengthening international academic ties and showcasing its educational capabilities to a global audience

For two weeks, students from African nations were immersed in an intensive program that included a professional development course on "Innovative Technologies in Agriculture and Food Industry," as well as a cultural and historical integration track. The educational session brought together participants from countries such as Guinea, Congo, Mozambique, and the Republic of Nigeria.
