Celebration was organized by the Spanish Department of International Education and Tuning Center on December, 21 and 22, 2017.
The 2-nd, 5-th and 6-th graders and pre-school children learned about the culture and traditions of Catholic Christmas and New Year in Spain.
The children took an active part in theatrical performances Navidad, danced to the Spanish music and sang popular Christmas songs-carols Villancicos navidenos. The celebration culminated with a long-standing Spanish tradition: eating one grape berry at each strike of the chiming clock and making a wish.
The International Education and Tuning Center staff and the language assistant Maria Mercedes Cuevas Trol arrived at Rostov-on-Don under the leadership of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, participated in the event organizing and celebrating.
