From April 22 to 27, the international conference OTHA 2018 took place
in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

It was hosted by Don State Technical University on April 24 and it was partially supported by Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research and international mathematical society ISAAC. There were more than 120 participants from many Russian universities, but also from numerous universities from abroad.

The core of the conference program was formed by 28 plenary lectures given by leading experts in many areas of analysis: real analysis, complex
analysis, functional analysis, harmonic analysis, approximation theory, theory of ordinary and partial differential equations, and finally, analysis in applications. In recognition of her achievements in study and research, the young mathematician Dr. Elza Bakhtigareeva from the RUDN University in Moscow was awarded an ISAAC life membership.
