PROFEST (ex. RoboFest) was organized by "Volnoe Delo" Oleg Deripaska Charity Foundation with the support of the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
The festival was attended by more than 7,000 pupils and students gathered in 1,800 teams from 74 regions of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
According to the results of the technological competition two DSTU teams under the leadership of "Automation, mechatronics and control" faculty Dean Pavel Obukhov won top prizes.
DSTU team "Mechanics from the GARAЖ" consisted of Eugeniy Ievlev, Victor Ievlev, Daniil Panchenko, Daryana Mikhaylichenko and Pavel Sudyin took the second place in the nomination "Automobile industry" (pro) in the field of "Engineering project".
DSTU team "Automation, mechatronics and control" consisted of Eugeniy Ievlev, Daniil Panchenko, Pavel Sudyin, Ekaterina Vasilyeva and Artem Fedorov took the third place in the nomination "Airport Services " (Pro) in the field of "Engineering project".
Also, the DSTU faculty was awarded the diploma for the best presentation of the engineering project.
