A team of DSTU construction scientists is planning to investigate interconnection of composition, microstructure, physics of the compaction process and properties of variatropic concretes (see the reference) with improved performance. The period of implementing the research in the framework of the grant is 3 years.

A team of scientists of Don State Technical University has developed high-tech self-compacting mixtures based on nanomodifiers of various types, including industrial and agricultural waste. The research team developed and proposed the formulation and technological parameters of the manufacturing process of improved concrete mixes, and also established experimental and mathematical dependencies between the characteristics of the technological process and raw materials and the characteristics of finished concrete mixes and concretes.
