DSTU SCIENTISTS DEVELOP NEW METHODS OF PROPERTIES MODELING OF GRAPHENE-BASED MATERIALS
Physics scientists study changes in the structure of the graphene crystal lattice to modify its properties. The research results will allow scientists to understand how the graphene properties can be modified, and it will be useful for producers implanting graphene-based materials into their products such as light-emitting diodes, ultrasensitive sensors, solar panels, quantum dot televisions.

On October 28, Center-invest Bank announced the results of the contest “Me and the Sustainable Development Goals”. DSTU SCIENTISTS INVESTIGATING WAYS TO INCREASE WEAR RESISTANCE OF CUTTING TOOLS WORKING SURFACES
Scientists of Don State Technical University (DSTU) as part of an international team are investigating ways to improve the wear resistance of cutting tools working surfaces. They established relationship between the coefficient of friction and the characteristics of microparticles in nitride coatings. The results of the study are published in the journal "Nanomaterials".
