DSTU and Bologna club representatives participated in the final conference of the Erasmus + project "University-enterprise cooperation via spin-off companies network" (UNISON). DSTU delegation was headed by Vice-rector for International Affairs Svetlana Shvedova.
– Partners from Spain, Germany, Portugal, China, Georgia and Russia studied best practices and prospects for development of small innovative university enterprises during three years of the project implementation, - said Svetlana Shvedova.
Due to the project support, the Russian, Georgian and Chinese universities created new spin-off companies and united them into a joint network on a virtual platform. It is an open platform for university enterprises interaction, sharing ideas and experience concerning startups creation and promotion. The partners also developed a roadmap with recommendations for the opening and management of university spin-off companies. Throughout the project, DSTU and the Bologna club provided active information support to the UNISON project, promoting its website and groups in VKontakte and Facebook.
The UNISON project conference was held on September, 17-22, 2019, at the sites of Chinese partners: Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Ludong University and Yantai High Tech Zone.
The conference participants visited innovative enterprises of Chinese partners, such as the student entrepreneurship site of Ludong University, the national creative and advertising industrial Park of 1861 in Yantai, the experimental and exhibition horticultural complex of Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
During the visit, DSTU representatives held negotiations with Chinese partners, and signed partnership agreement with Shandong Polytechnic University.
