THREE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS WILL BE IMPLEMENTED AT DSTU UNDER ERASMUS+ PROGRAM
Three international educational projects with the participation of DSTU were selected for funding by the European Commission under ERASMUS+ program.
DSTU has been successfully participating in TEMPUS IV and Erasmus + programs for 10 years. Every year DSTU takes part in the project applications’ preparation and submission. The subject area of the applications is extremely wide: architecture, IT-technologies, ecology, biotechnologies, pedagogy etc. In the frame of 2018-2019 call for proposals, the flagship university has submitted 12 applications in Key Action 2 “Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education” and 7 applications in Jean Monnet action. Three of them has been supported by the European Commission. In Key Action 2 these are the following projects:
- "HE and VET alliance establishment according to Bologna Principals implementation via VET teachers’ capacity building" (ALLVET). Project coordinator is the Univerzitet U Kragujevcu (Serbia). The consortium of the project includes leading universities and educational organizations of Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Spain, Russia and Kazakhstan.
- "Development of a flexible, innovative and practical framework for Work-based Learning in higher education of Armenia and Russia” (FlexWBL). Project coordinator is the Liepaja University (Latvia) with the assistance of partner universities from Austria, Lithuania, Russia and Armenia.
In Jean Monnet action the project “The Best European Experience in Energy Saving” (E3SAVE) was supported. It will be implemented by the academic staff of the "Urban engineering and facilities" Chair headed by professor Svetlana Sheina.
