On April 5, 2021, DSTU launched the second module of the iPET program within the framework of the international project "Engineering Educators pedagogical training" (module iPET-2) (ENTER).
The iPET program is a multi-level modular system for pedagogical training of engineering educators based on international network cooperation. Its 3-level hierarchical structure meets the requirements of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning.
The actual design is one of the outputs of the project and foresees 3 educational programs with different content and duration:
iPET-1 Short-focused (2 ECTS) - "Qualification Development" Certificate;
iPET-2 Professional Retraining (8 ECTS) - Diploma ''Higher Education Teacher";
iPET-3 International recognized (20 ECTS) - a full program leading to international accreditation as "Engineering Educator".
At the end of the advanced training course iPET-1, everyone who successfully passed the final test had the opportunity to continue their training.

Alexey Lysenko, Olga Fedotova, Evgenia Roshchina will continue to teach during the second module of iPET:

•    Alexey Lysenko – "Systems analysis in education";
•    Olga Fedotova – "Pedagogical Psychology and Communication;
•    Evgenia Roshchina – "Interaction with stakeholders".

For the implementation of the training program, the international experts were also invited: Tiia Ruutmann, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Tallinn University of Technology  (Tallinn, Estonia) will lead the discipline "Enhancement of learning interactivity", Prof. Jose Carlos Quadrado, Pro-President for Internationalisation of Porto Polytechnic University (Porto, Portugal) – "Sustainable development".
52 university staff of the Don State Technical University were enrolled in iPET-2. Based on the results of the certification the participants will receive Diploma of ''Higher Education Teacher".
