INTERNATIONAL ONLINE CONFERENCE WITHIN THE ERASMUS + PROGRAM PROJECTS STARTED
On September, 9 - 11, Don State Technical University, Kragujevac University (Kragujevac, Serbia), and Liepaja University (Liepaja, Latvia) are holding an international conference "E4E (Education for Employment) process modeling: innovative study programmes and network partnerships".
The event is attended by heads and representatives of universities, educational organizations and professional associations from Russia, Belgium, Serbia, Spain, the UK, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Austria, Estonia, Armenia and Kazakhstan.
– I am sure that the online conference will build a new bridge for relations between foreign universities and Don State Technical University. And that will give an additional impetus to development of international cooperation between the participants. And all the conditions for this have already been created at DSTU, - said Vladimir Lakunin, a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, President of the Union of employers of the Rostov region.
The plenary, working and informational sessions participants discussed development of vocational and higher education interaction, network partnering between universities and labor market, work-based learning system improvement.
– Now it is important that all key partners work together. We are ready to share experience, cooperate and create new programmes for training qualified workers and specialists, develop network interaction between universities, vocational education institutions and employers, – said DSTU rector Besarion Meskhi.
Developed strategic solutions and best practices are presented by Russian and foreign experts. The speakers were Head of Evaluation and Methodology Department of the ANO "Russia - Land of opportunity" Dmitry Guzhelya, President of the European Network For Business Studies and Languages (Belgium) Anabela Mesquita, Vice-rector for International Relations of the University of Deusto (Spain) Alex Rayón Jerez, Vice-rector for international Affairs of DSTU, President of the Bologna club Svetlana Shvedova.
The conference was held within the framework of the Erasmus+ program projects "HE and VET alliance establishment according to Bologna Principals implementation via VET teachers’ capacity building" (ALLVET)", "Development of a flexible, innovative and practical framework for Work-based Learning in higher education of Armenia and Russia" (FlexWBL).
