SOUTHERN RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER AND VULTUS AB DEVELOPING PLATFORM FOR AUTOMATED PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES
The Swedish company Vultus AB has become a partner of the Southern Research and Educational Center in the AVS-agro project.
Experts of Vultus AB will develop a platform for automated production management of Russian agricultural enterprises with DSTU, Research Institute "Spetsvuzavtomatika" and SFU. The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed on February, 3, 2021 by DSTU rector Besarion Meskhi and Vultus AB CEO Robert Schmitt.
Analyzing information from open sources: weather data, remote sensing results, and also currency rates and stock indices for agricultural products, digital platform AVS-agro will make a real-time situation assessment on fields, provide recommendations and warnings about the negative consequences of certain decisions for agricultural production. Also the system will implement algorithms for interaction between devices with the ability to generate control signals without human participation according to the Internet of Things standard.
