On April, 28, 2020, DSTU rector Besarion Meskhi signed an order specifying the algorithm of the university's work within the framework of extending distance learning until May, 25.
– Despite many organizational and technical difficulties that have appeared while the transition to the distance learning format, classes are held completely. Due to the fact that the examination period is coming soon, we inform you that tests and exams will be held in accordance with the schedule, but in online mode, – said Vice rector for Academic Affairs Vladimir Kolodkin.
Also according to the document, the state exam of 2019/2020 academic year is canceled for all areas of training. Graduates will defend final qualifying works in a remote mode. The exception is the Faculty of Law, where the state exam is a requirement of the FSES. It will also be held in an online format.
The awarding of diplomas, defense of final thesis and exams will be held on the previously set dates.
