STUDENTS FROM DSTU AND THE UK UNIVERSITIES WILL DEVELOP A PROJECT OF ROSTOV AIRPORT TERRITORY RENOVATION
During a three-week program, students will develop the project to renovate the old Rostov-on-Don airport territory using advanced information modeling technologies, energy saving and renewable energy sources.
On August 19, 2019, the international student summer research school "Sustainable region development. Green building. Renovation of the old Rostov-on-Don airport territory" was opened at DSTU. This year students of Don State Technical University, Glasgow Kelvin College and the University of the West of Scotland participate in the summer school.
The project work will be carried out in several stages: students will explore the airport environmental conditions, create infrastructure concept (hospitals, schools, kindergartens) in the new district and the project of the center for renewable energy sources improvement. The school will be finished on September 8, 2019.
