DEMONSTRATIVE DENTAL SURGERY FOR THE COATI WAS HELD AT DSTU
An operation to provide a dental care to a zoo animal was held at base of the Don State Technical University. In the presence of the students of the veterinary faculty the chief doctor of the training veterinary center "Dentalvet" Anna Spirina carried out the sanation of the oral cavity of the coati (the Raccoon family).
PROJECT "OFF-CAMPUS PRE-DEGREE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE COURSE" STARTED AT INTERNATIONAL FACULTY
On September 21, 2020, DSTU International Faculty launched the project "Off-campus pre-degree Russian language course". More than 100 foreign citizens from 15 countries have started their studies.
Specialists in veterinary dentistry will be trained in Russia
Don State Technical University will be the first one in Russia to train specialists in veterinary dentistry. In partnership with the educational veterinary center "Dentalvet" DGTU opens the corporate department department of "Veterinary dentistry and maxillofacial surgery." Training of the specialists will take place at PhD cycle, after obtaining the basic degree in veterinary medicine, and as a part of continuing professional education.

On April 7, 2020, Alexander Kantorovich, regional coordinator of Species360 in Eastern Europe, curator of the High Park zoo collection (Israel), offered DSTU Department "Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine" students to solve cases on the basics of working with wild and zoo animals in online zoo ZIMS.
