  2.Aim of the programme
The objectives of the educational program in the field of education are to gain in-depth knowledge in the field of quality management, which allows the graduate to conduct successful professional activities, the formation of general cultural, professional and professional competencies that promote his professional mobility and relevance in the labor market;
- in the field of personality education - the formation of social and personal qualities of graduates: purposefulness, organization, diligence, responsibility, sociability, tolerance, erudition, etc.

The educational program of higher education "Quality management in production and technological systems" is focused on the preparation of undergraduates for solving the problems of quality management in production and technological systems in order to achieve the sustainable success of the organization.
Orientation of the educational program on production and technological systems is caused by features of economic development of the South of Russia. The territorial proximity to the largest enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, engineering, defense industry forms the key features of the educational program, consisting in the inter-sectoral nature of the program, close ties with manufacturing enterprises, practice-oriented (applied) approach to training. Students have the opportunity to practice and internships at the leading enterprises of Rostov-on-don and Rostov region, in-depth study of information technology, participation in scientific conferences and competitions.

The educational program "Quality management in production and technological systems" is oriented to the applied kind of professional activity.
The master who has mastered the educational program should be ready to solve the following professional tasks in accordance with the types of professional activity:
Production and technological activity:
- continuous research of production processes to identify productive actions and losses;
- Identification of necessary improvements and the development of new, more effective means of quality control;
- technological foundations for the formation of quality and labor productivity;
- metrological support of design, production, operation of technical products and systems;
- development of methods and means for improving the safety and environmental compatibility of technological processes;
- organization of works on introduction of information technologies in quality management and information protection;
- participation in works on certification of quality management systems.
Organizational and management activities:
- organization of actions necessary for the effective operation of the quality management system;
- the content of management accounting and the practical use of indicators of variable and constant costs of product quality assurance;
- management of material and information flows in the production of products and services in the context of universal quality management;
- control and testing in the production process;
- carrying out activities to improve the quality of products and services.
Design and engineering activities:
- Participation in the development of modern methods for designing quality management systems, the formation of project objectives, criteria and indicators for achieving the goals, building the structure of their relationships, identifying priorities for solving problems, taking into account the moral aspects of the activity;
- participation in the design and improvement of communication processes and procedures for recognizing the merits of a quality work;
- participation in the design of processes to develop a strategy of never-ending improvement in quality;
- use of information technologies and computer-aided design systems in the professional sphere on the basis of a systems approach;
- participation in the design of quality management system models with the construction of generalized solutions to the problem and the analysis of these options, forecasting the consequences of each option, finding a solution in conditions of multi-criteriaity and uncertainty.
- Identify the main processes and participate in the development of their working models;
- carry out corrective and preventive measures aimed at improving the quality;
- To predict the dynamics, trends in the development of the object, process, tasks, problems, their systems, use for this formalized models, methods;
- to plan and organize the work of the team of performers;
- develop and apply normative and technical documentation on the creation of a quality assurance system and control of its effectiveness.
