2. Aim of the programme

Preparation of a highly qualified specialist in the sphere of  automated  systems of data processing and control, software of automated systems, who is able to:
- design automated control systems of various application;
- approve the choice of hardware and software tools for automation and computerization  of enterprises;
-  develop and realize integration information system projects in accordance with methods and standards of information support products, including methods and standards of document management, integrated logistical support, estimation of programs' quality and databases, e-business.

4.1. Job opportunities

A graduate can work at any enterprises that design, research or operate systems and devices with microprocessor-based control and complex structure. A graduate is trained for such types of professional activity in data processing automated systems and management as:

- electronic computing machine, networks;
- automated data processing and management systems;
- systems of computer-aided design  and information product support;
- software automated systems.

The objectives of the graduate’s professional activity are: 

- computing machinery, complexes, systems and networks;
- automated data processing and management systems;
- systems of automated design and informational support of  manufacture products'  life-time cycle;
-software of computing technique  and automated systems (programs software components and systems);
- mathematical, informational, technical, linguistic, programming, ergonomic, organizational and legal support of the systems mentioned above.

6. Education style (Teaching, training, assessment)


6.1. Educational technologies
Lectures and practical studies, independent research work and research practices. Lectures and practical studies are carried out on-line giving graduates the possibility to realize their creative and educational initiatives. Specific research skills, as well as skills in measuring instruments handling, abilities to conduct experiments and process results are formed in collaboration with the university laboratories and enterprises.

6.2. Assessment methods
At the end of each semester assessment is made as for in-class learning as well as for independent Master’s research work and internships.
