    2.Aim of the programme

    2.1 The purpose of the educational program:
    Training of the new formation personnel, capable of practical implementation of acquired knowledge in the field of technological processes safety and productions with professional noxology culture, willingness and ability of the individual to use in future professional and applied professional competencies to ensure operational safety, with the personal qualities and the nature of thinking, in which the issues of human security in the modern world are considered as a priority.

    2.2 Features of the program: Professional tasks, which will be solved by graduates, are mainly focused on service and operational activities. After completing the training on the educational program, the bachelor is prepared for specific types of professional activities, including the operation of means of protection; monitoring the state of protection; operation of security controls; the choice of known and the most optimal methods (systems) of human protection in the workplace and emergency response in relation to specific conditions; preparation of safety instructions. The choice of features of the bachelor degree program realization is caused by needs of the regional labor market, research and material resources of chair.

    Stability of economic objects in emergency conditions, Basics of risk management in technical systems, Industrial acoustics, Occupational safety Psychology and basics of ergonomics, Power supply safety for industrial enterprises.

    4.1 Job opportunities
    Service and operational activity is considered as a priority type of professional activity. However, if necessary, graduates can find a job and work effectively on design, organizational and management, expert, supervisory and inspection, audit and research activities.

    A student who has got competences full range of this education program can go into further academic study on 20.04.01 “Technosphere safety” field in the following master programs: “Labor safety” and “Life Safety in Technosphere”, then 20.06.01 “Technosphere safety” field in the following phd program: “Labor safety”

    • to be guided in the main methods and systems of ensuring technosphere safety, reasonably  choose the known devices, systems and methods of protection of the person from production dangers;
    • to participate in the performance of occupational safety and industrial safety management functions of organizations of any organizational and legal forms of ownership, operating facilities of the engineering industry;
    • to analyze current trends in the development of technology and technologies in the field of technosphere safety;
    • to assess economic costs to make a reasoned choice of the most effective project to ensure technosphere safety ;
    • to be guided in the main regulatory legal acts in the field of safety and refer to the relevant documents for the resolution of specific production problems;
    • to work effectively as a team member in the performance of professional functions;
    • to participate in the examination of industrial safety, to monitor and identify the dangers of the engineering industry;
    • to install and operate protective equipment to ensure the safety of technological processes and production.
    6.Education style (Teaching, learning, assessment) 

    6.1.Learning and teaching approaches

    The process of forming competencies involves the use of a set of methodological, strategic and tactical educational technologies. The lecture course includes both traditional, classical presentation of the material and dialogue, problem, practice-oriented, analytical lectures. Lectures are accompanied by illustrative, study and organize presentations.
    The active method of training is used on practical classes - advancing independent work, when students studying a new material before its statement by the teacher on lecture. Interactive forms of practical training in the discipline include problem and game training, including elements of business and role-playing games, computer simulations and modeling. Information and communication technologies are widely used in independent work of students. In the process of practical work, students participate in online discussions, make thematic crossword puzzles.

    6.2. Assessment methods

    Sets of test items, including electronic; sets of control questions for recitation on the materials of practical training; control questions for the exam and offset; subjects of course works and projects; criteria for assessing the results of the development of the discipline. State final certification completes the training and includes the state exam and defense of the final qualifying work.
