2.Aim of the programme
Forming general scientific and professional competencies in the field of electric-power industry. Staff training for work at businesses related to the electric-power industry.
2.1. Program mastering characteristics
Advanced study of subjects aimed at formation of professional competences according to the profile of education. Practice training, carried out in collaboration with industrial enterprises with long-term visits to the factories.

Professional courses: Theoretical principles of electrical engineering, General power engineering, Electrical Machinery, Relay Protection and Automation of Electrical Power Systems, Electrical Power Systems and Networks, Power supply etc.

5. Programme learning outcomes
- Working-out design and technical documentation, execution of research and development.
- Organization of workplace, their facilities, arrangement of technological equipment.
- Organization of work on implementation of some research or industrial project.
- Making-up technical documentation (operating schedules, instructions, plans, estimates, requisition for materials, equipment), as well as specified reports according to approved forms.
- Carrying out work on standardization and preparation for certification of technical means, systems, processes, equipment and materials.
- Mathematical simulation of processes and objects on the basis of standard packages of application software for computer-aided design and research.
- Installation, adjustment and testing of power and electrical equipment.
-Checking up technical state and residual resource of power and electrical equipment, organization of preventive examinations and operating repair.
- Acceptance and mastering of inputting power and electrical equipment.
- Drawing up requirements for equipment and spares, preparation of technical documentation.
- Compiling of instructions on equipment operation and test programs.
