ALGORITHM OF ENTRY INTO THE TERRITORY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS


In accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation as of March 16, 2020 No. 635-r (as amended on May 24, 2021) "On the temporary restriction of entry into the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and stateless persons and the temporary suspension of registration and providing visas and invitations" entry into the territory of the Russian Federation is allowed for citizens of the following countries:

ALGORITHM OF ENTRANCE TO THE TERRITORY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The student needs:

1. For countries with a visa regime of stay in the territory of the Russian Federation:


With a valid visa:
  • contact the dean's office 15 days before the date of the intended entry;
  • inform on the date of arrival written on the ticket and the checkpoint where the state border will be crossed.
Without these data, a foreign citizen cannot cross the border at the checkpoint!
Without a visa::
  • contact the dean's office in order to supply documents for an invitation formalizing (send a scan of the passport by e-mail, the validity of which is at least 1 year and 6 months; translation into Russian of all completed passport pages and a completed application form)

Having received the invitation, a student must:

  • contact the dean's office 15 days before the date of the intended entry;
  • inform on the date of arrival written on the ticket and the checkpoint where the state border will be crossed.
Without these data, a foreign citizen cannot cross the border at the checkpoint!
2. For countries with a visa-free stay in the territory of the russian federation:
  • contact the dean's office 15 days before the date of the intended entry;

ALL FOREIGN CITIZENS (VISA / VISA-FREE REGIME OF STAY IN THE TERRITORY OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION) 3 days before arrival in the Russian Federation, you must pass a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test. It is possible to enter Russia with this medical document in English only.

2. Before obtaining the test results, a self-isolation regime is required at the place of stay.

  • For those living at a private address - the address of actual stay
  • For those living in the hostel - hostel number 10 (observator).

3. During the period of isolation, training takes place in an online format. Without a negative PCR test, students are not allowed to attend full-time studies.

If, during the period of self-isolation, foreigners arrived in Russia experience the first symptoms of an acute respiratory illness (fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough), the student must immediately inform the university about this and call a doctor.
