Inclusive Education

Inclusive Education is provided for people with special needs.

The idea of inclusive education is that special conditions should not be created in separate "closed" educational institutions, but to be created in any educational environment. That allows a person - representative of any "special group" - to develop equally with others as a person and a member of the community.

The key aspect of inclusive education consists in possibility of a person with special needs to get complete educational and social experience together with his or her groupmates.

DSTU RECTOR BESARION MESKHI PARTICIPATED IN THE MEETING OF THE NSCF BOARD OF TRUSTEES
On 26 July, Rector of Don State Technical University Besarion Meskhi took part in a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National Student Football League (NSFL) as part of the business programme of the Russia-Africa International Sports Festival at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The main topic of discussion was the return of Russian student football competitions to the format of home tournaments.

DSTU AND SEYCHELLES DEVELOP FRIENDLY RELATIONS
Don State Technical University has signed a cooperation agreement with Seaweed Seychelles, a Seychelles-based company that produces a soil conditioner and growth stimulator for agricultural plants. The document provides for bilateral academic contacts, scientific and technical research, improvement of the quality of educational services and exchange of information. The parties also agreed to jointly participate in international programmes and initiate joint projects, including educational and cultural projects.

DSTU AND THE COPPERBELT UNIVERSITY, THE REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA, WILL COOPERATE IN THE FIELDS OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND CULTURE
Don State Technical University and Copperbelt University, the Republic of Zambia, signed a cooperation agreement and a memorandum of understanding in the field of academic and scientific cooperation on 28 July within the framework of the Russia-Africa Summit in St. Petersburg.

DSTU STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH NIGERIA
On July 28, Don State Technical University and representatives of Nigeria signed two strategic cooperation agreements as part of the Russia-Africa International Summit taking place in St. Petersburg on 27-28 July 2023. The partnership documents were concluded with the University of Agriculture, Makurdi (UAM) and the Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU).

DSTU SCIENTISTS WON A GRANT OF 16 MILLON FROM THE RUSSIAN SCIENCE FUND TO STUDY VARIATROPIC CONCRETES
A team of DSTU construction scientists is planning to investigate interconnection of composition, microstructure, physics of the compaction process and properties of variatropic concretes (see the reference) with improved performance. The period of implementing the research in the framework of the grant is 3 years.
