DSTU Rector, Besarion Meskhi, Minister of General and Professional Education of the Rostov Region, Larisa Balina and the attaché of education embassy of Spain in Russia, José Aurelio Llanes Villanueva have signed a Memorandum on the expansion of Spanish language learning and Spanish section will be opened in DSTU. Spanish bachelor program curriculum will be implemented in three secondary education institutions: school №39, school №53 and grammar school №50. It will allow rostovities to get double diplomas of secondary education (Russian and Spanish) and provide youth great opportunities for further education.
Today Spanish bilingual education project is being realized only in Rostov Region, apart from Moscow and St. Petersburg. Here the idea of Spanish teaching at all levels of education was supported by the Ministry of Education. According to José Aurelio Llanesa Villanueva, the main purpose of this unique project is to establish relations, social and cultural ties between our countries. The attaché said: “We collaborate with DSTU for about 10 years and we are satisfied with this cooperation”.
