Deputy Director of Technology Department and coordinator of the «Erasmus + KA1» Mobility Project John Moss, Head of Educational Programs Department Stephen Moss and Head of Distance Learning Service Kira Duffy met DSTU rector Besarion Meskhi. In the framework of the joint international scientific and educational project KA1-Learning Mobility of Individuals (Erasmus+) parties discussed opportunities for students and teaching staff international academic exchanges.
- Cooperation with DSTU is very important for us. We hope that cooperation in the field of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) will give new prospects for both South West College and DSTU students, - said John Moss.
Besarion Meskhi also noted that cooperation with the Southwest College will improve the students’ competencies.
The delegation from Northern Ireland visited DSTU centers of excellence laboratories, Mediapark "South region – DSTU", industrial coworking "Garaж".
The visit will last until May, 10, 2018. During these days John Moss, Stephen Moss and Kira Duffy will visit DSTU Civil Engineering and Architecture Academy where they will discuss joint projects of the Summertime school with professors of the Chairs "Urban Construction and Economy" and "Engineering Technology".
Also the College representatives will attend a seminar concerning the stadium "Rostov Arena" construction and the development plan of the left-bank tourist and recreational area in Rostov-on-Don.
